Delivery Information and Shipping Charges

We like to be really 'up-front' with our delivery charges. We feel that certain other websites are misleading when they quote really low charges. With some of our competitors, you don't know what the real delivery charge will be untill you get to the checkout!

Sweets and candy are heavy so they're not cheap to send however, due to the large volume of orders we send out each day, we receive excellent rates from our carriers. We do not 'mark-up' our carriage and packing charges and we often charge you less than what it actually costs us.

RECEIVING YOUR ORDER

Our carriers generally require a signature for all deliveries - that way we can track your parcel in the event of any problems. However, you have the choice of requesting that your parcel is "Left in a Safe Place" in which case your delivery will be left without a signature but neither ourselves or our carriers will be held responsible for missing parcels or non-delivery once the goods have left our warehouse. If you want your parcel "Left in a Safe Place" then request this in the special instructions box at the checkout.

UK MAINLAND ADDRESSES

Standard Delivery is £4.95 to most UK Mainland addresses. This service can take up to 3 working days to arrive. However, you will often receive your order much sooner.

Priority Service is £6.95 to most UK Mainland addresses and provided that your order is received before 12 Noon, we will will attempt to despatch that day using a 24 Hour Service. However, this service is also subject to stock availability but we'ill try to contact you if we are unable to get your order delivered on time.

Please also be advised that we cannot guarantee Next Day Delivery to certain areas of Scotland or any domestic address.

You can select the delivery service at the Final Checkout stage of your purchase and the charge will be added to the total cost of your purchases.

Please Note: We DO NOT guarantee delivery times as sometimes parcels can be delayed for reasons beyond our control.

If your order is urgent please call us before placing your order to check stock and delivery.

Saturday deliveries are by special arrangement only - please telephone for details.

SCOTTISH HIGHLANDS & ISLANDS

We pass on the DHL rate of £11.95 to our customers in these regions. Delivery normally takes 2-3 days.

ISLE OF WIGHT, ISLE OF MAN & SCILLY ISLES

We charge £11.95 for deliveries to the these islands. Delivery normally takes 2 days.

NORTHERN IRELAND

We charge a flat rate of £11.95 to Northern Ireland. Delivery is via DHL and normally takes 2 days.

CHANNEL ISLANDS

We charge £19.95 to Jersey and Guernsey. Delivery is via DHL and normally takes 48 hours. This rate is for consignments weighing up to 25 Kgs. Consignments weighing more than 25Kgs will be charged on a pro-rata basis in 5Kg increments.

WESTERN EUROPE

We offer excellent rates for delivery to the countries listed below. Delivery is by DHL and takes between 2 - 5 days depending on location. Rates quoted are for consignments weighing up to 25 Kgs. Consignments weighing more than 25Kgs will be charged on a pro-rata basis in 5Kg increments.

PLEASE NOTE: Certain areas within Western Europe are classed as 'REMOTE AREAS' and will carry an additional surcharge. Unfortunately, we cannot list all these remote areas (there's far too many!) so we'll advise you of any surcharge once your order is placed. Obviously, you will be able to cancel your order if you do not wish to pay this surcharge.

NORTH AMERICA & CANADA

For the time being we are unable to deliver to North America. This is due to import problems with US Customs & Excise. They have imposed quite stringent restrictions on the importation of foodstuffs. We have applied for an import license and are waiting for this before we can resume deliveries. Sorry for this.

We are happy to deliver to any other country in the World so please contact us with your requirements and we'll work out a delivery price for you.
